The Small Black Business Association (SBBA) is highlighting the achievements of one of its founding members whose entrepreneurial efforts are creating opportunities that extend well beyond individual success. Through innovation, growth, and community reinvestment, his ventures are not only gaining momentum but are also strengthening the SBBA’s mission of cycling wealth back into Black communities.
Cribbn Expands Its ReachCribbn, a social media platform designed to foster authentic community engagement, has recorded its strongest month to date. In September, the platform welcomed 328 new users and generated 2,810 posts, representing more than 200 percent growth compared to the previous month. The platform has established itself as a space where businesses, ideas, and connections can thrive. Effective moderation has also reinforced Cribbn as a safe and trusted environment, with developers in talks to introduce new features such as games to enhance user engagement.
American Dodgeball League Gains MomentumThe American Dodgeball League is expanding its footprint, having received Letters of Intent from three new businesses interested in launching franchises in Alabama, Mississippi, and North Carolina. Alongside the established Atlanta Blitz, this expansion brings the league’s roster to four teams. The move reflects growing confidence in the league’s potential and positions October as a landmark month for its continued growth.
Brio Streaming Secures Major PartnershipsBrio, the re-registered streaming platform operating under the One Family brand, has announced partnerships with Paramount and Discovery. This development grants access to a rich library of content while also offering advertisers the ability to place ads directly on the platform. Brio further distinguishes itself by allowing content creators and distributors to upload and monetize their own work, echoing the collaborative model of Amazon Prime Video. This positions Brio as a forward-thinking, community-driven resource for both entertainment and economic growth.
Trilllist Prepares for Market LaunchAnother promising project on the horizon is Trilllist (Trilllist.com), a classified platform with a unique feature: the ability to include videos in listings. This innovation sets it apart from traditional classified platforms and offers new ways for businesses and individuals to connect with audiences. Though bootstrapped and growing steadily, Trilllist’s features make it well-positioned for long-term success.

Revenues and opportunities generated from these projects flow back into the organization, enabling it to provide loans, resources, and support to other small Black businesses.
